Edulink International College Nairobi was established in 2014 with the first student intake for March 2015.The college is part of a group run by Edulink Consultants, a global educational services company that has partnered with renowned international academic institutions to establish the Nairobi campus at a cost of US$ 3 million (approx KSh 275 million.)

Edulink International College will deliver a range of internationally recognised programmes such as Multimedia (ARENA) and Software Development (ACCP). The main aim of the college is to equip graduates for global employability and for making a real contribution to the Kenyan economy.

At same time, the campus will also introduce the blended learning model which allows them to deliver the first 2 years of an American Bachelor’s Degree in Kenya and then students can transfer their credits to a University overseas thereby saving students who wish to study abroad over Sh4.5million per year.
According to the campus executive director, Dr. Raj Gill, EIC aims to produce students able to fill the current skills gap in the Kenyan job market plagued by a myriad of challenges including the production of students who lack the technical skills required in the job market leading to the growing rates of unemployment in the country.
“We are delighted to offer the University Transfer Programme which has numerous benefits, including the provision of quality education that is cost-effective,” said Dr Raj Gill, the Campus’s Executive Director.

He also added that the College is set to revolutionise the higher education sector and positively impact on the labour market in Kenya as well as equipping graduates with global employability skills and for making a real contribution to the Kenyan economy
“We will empower students with the technical mastery and work-related capabilities required by employers,” Dr Gill said.
Ten years ago, Edulink Consultants opened a similar institution in Middlesex University Dubai, in collaboration with and providing programmes from Middlesex University London. Since then the school has approximately 2500 students on foundation, 19 undergraduate and 10 postgraduate programmes, and over 2000 alumni.
They also run a similar college in Sri Lanka called Victoria Higher Education Campus offering University programmes in collaboration with Greenwich University. At Victoria Higher Education Campus (VHEC) in Colombo, EIC runs a foundation programme, 4 undergraduate programmes with 4 top-ups, and 2 postgraduate programmes, including 2 business programmes at undergraduate level and an MBA. The degree programmes are run under franchise from the University of Greenwich (UOG), whereas the foundation programme is owned by VHEC and recognised by UOG. VHEC is owned by Edulink Consultants, Dubai.
