4.3 Contacts Permission
Purpose: To enable users to save new contacts they meet at events directly to their device’s contact list.

Purpose: To send reminders and updates about upcoming event sessions and activities during events.
The app does not request or use:
- Location permissions
- Microphone permissions
- Bluetooth permissions
- NFC permissions

Important: While we strive to protect your information, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of your data.

How long we keep your data: We retain user data for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period thereafter to comply with our legal obligations and resolve disputes.
Account deletion: When you delete your account, we do not currently have an automated data deletion process in place. If you wish to have your data deleted, please contact us at dxve.dev@gmail.com, and we will process your request manually.

9.3 Opting Out of Data Collection
Given the minimal nature of data collection, you cannot opt out of data collection while still using the app’s core features. If you do not wish to have any data collected, you should not use the app.
9.4 Updating or Correcting Information

10. Children’s Privacy
The DX5VE Events app is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at dxve.dev@gmail.com, and we will delete such information from our systems.
11. International Data Transfers
Since our data is stored on Firebase (Google Cloud Platform) servers, your data may be transferred to and stored in countries outside of your country of residence, including the United States and other countries where Google operates data centers.
By using the DX5VE Events app, you consent to the transfer of your information to countries outside your country of residence, which may have different data protection laws than your country.
