Duncan Eric Ogonji has been appointed as the new Regional Director IT at Plan International for the Middle East, Eastern and Southern Africa (MEESA) region. In this role, Duncan will be operating in over 15 countries.

This comes after he served as the Principal Cloud Adoption Manager at Oracle. Duncan is an accomplished, business-focused, and result-oriented technology leader with over 16 years of hands-on experience in leading and delivering IT strategy, business strategy alignment, and digital transformation. He will be bringing this wide array of experience to Plan International.

At his previous role for Oracle, Duncan was looking after the Kenyan and Nigerian markets. Over his illustrious career. He has held various technical and senior management leadership roles. He has served as the Chief Information Officer (CIO) at Kenya Vision 2030; was in charge of the Applications and Database unit at the Kenya Ports Authority (KPA); and was also in charge of IT Enterprise at NCBA Bank at some point.
