DTE Gains Cisco Master Service Provider Tech Specialization

Down To Earth Technologies Ltd (DTE) has become the first company to achieve the Cisco Master Service Provider Technology Specialization in East Africa.

Speaking after this fete, the Managing Director at DTE, Vincent Milewa, said the qualification is a huge achievement, not just to the company, but to the whole East African region as well.

According to Cisco, the exclusive Master Service Provider Specialization ensures a company has the expertise to help a customer’s service provider manage their business by being a trusted advisor at a regional level.

The Specialisation also enables a company to bring their customers into the digital age, as helps them build a secure and advanced network. Additionally, the specialization will help DTE boost its profits with unique incentive programs, rebates, and co-marketing funds as well as benefit from working with Cisco technology partners.

Going forward, DTE will also be able to use a distinct Master Partner logo to position its best-in-class skills and access in-depth training and support resources.

“DTE has achieved Cisco’s Master certification in Service Provider which validates its capability to implement and support cutting edge technologies within SP customer environments such; Evolved Packet Core, DWDM, MPLS, BGP, Segment routing. DTE is constantly developing its engineering team to be able to meet the high demands of its customers,” added Bramwel Wakachunga, Director of Engineering at DTE.
