DraperDarkFlow in partnership with Makerere University School of Public Health – ResilientAfrica Network (RAN) are inviting interested parties to apply and participate in SpeedUPAfrica, Startup Boot camp. The event’s application window closes June 1st, and selected startups will be announced June 5th.
According to an e-mail sent to the event’s stake holders, the Bootcamp will gather Africa’s top 100 startups from all over the continent, with Silicon Valley/Global Mentors and Investors for a 4 Days Growth and Investment Focused Bootcamp, July 6 – 10, 2016, at Ashesi University, Ghana.
“No speeches, no panels, it is 100% focus on execution with Workshops, one-on-one Mentor Sessions, Growth Hacking, on-the-spot Introductions, on-the-spot Investments, Turning-up, and other super cool surprises,” the e-mail added.

DraperDarkFlow is a Silicon Valley Venture Capital Fund (backed by Tim Draper) for African startups that can change the world. DraperDarkFlow has partnered with 500 Startups, Singularity University, F6S, Ashesi University & ResilientAfrica Network (RAN), and will along with other investors also invest over $1M in the Most Promising Startups showcased during the Bootcamp.
The Bootcamp is open to all Innovators, Entrepreneurs, Start-ups, Mentors, Scholars from across the globe. Participation is free. All one has to pay for is their flight and the rest will be covered; airport pickup, accommodation, feeding.
ResilientAfrica Network (RAN) has a few travel grants for startups associated with RAN partner universities. Only startups with a live product or prototype will be considered. To apply, click here
