DPO Group CEO and CO-Founder, Eran Feinsten, Retires
DPO Group co-founder and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Eran Feinstein has retired. He helped build the payments company making it one of the leading payment providers in Africa.
In 2021, Feinstein, alongside co-founder Offer Gat, successfully managed DPO’s sale to Network International, a globally renowned enabler of digital commerce across the Middle East and Africa.
He will be replaced by Brendon Williamson, Network International’s Regional Managing Director for Acquiring in South Africa. He has already spent time in his career with DPO South Africa so he won’t be taking over an unfamiliar role.

Brendon successfully founded Dotcom Solutions, a global fraud management consultancy, as well as Intercept Risk, a company offering global transaction fraud screening services. He has also spent the last ten years of his career with DPO SA, where he fulfilled the roles of Chief Sales Officer, Chief Marketing Officer, and most recently Head of Commercial.
The retiring co-founder and CEO said that he is grateful for the role he has played in developing the company but he is confident that he will be leaving it in better hands.
“I am proud to have played my part in developing the next wave of African tech talent. It has been an incredible journey, from the two-man start-up in 2006 to the leading digital payments success story DPO is today. Having helped build the team that leads the company now, I know I couldn’t be leaving it in better hands,” Eran Feinstein said.

On his part, Brendon Williamson acknowledged Eran’s contribution to the development of DPO Group.
“DPO would not be the company it is today without Eran’s drive and determination. Thanks to his tireless hard work, DPO made a series of smart acquisitions including what was then one of the largest acquisitions by a PSP in 2019 when it bought PayFast in South Africa. I have learned so much from him over the last six years of working together,” Brendon reiterated.
