Dennis Volemi Joins DTB As CIDO

Diamond Trust Bank (DTB) has announced the appointment of Dennis Volemi as its Chief Information & Digital Officer (CIDO).

Volemi is a business and technology leader with over 20 years of experience in various industries, including financial services, telecommunications, and media and entertainment, where he held previous roles in technology strategy, digital transformation, change management, and service operations.

He joins DTB from Equity, where he was the Group’s Chief Information Officer (CIO) for over two years until February of this year. Before that, Volemi served as the Director of Information Technology (IT) at NCBA Group. He has also previously held the role of Head of IT at the Commercial Bank of Africa, among other senior positions in other firms.

Volemi specializes in the development of business, technology, and transformation strategies. He holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Nairobi and a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Kenyatta University.
