CIO100 Survey deadline is Friday

The deadline CIO 100 Awards 2016 nominations is fast approaching, with Friday 30th September the last day that East Africa IT leaders can put themselves forward for the prestigious accolade. The ceremony will take place on 10th -11th November at Enashipai Resort and Spa.

The CIO 100 Survey enables corporate organizations (both multinationals -MNCs – and small and medium enterprises – SMEs) to nominate and share with industry the various technology innovations that have enabled them enhance their operations.

The CIO 100 Survey also helps examine how organizations in both public and private sector purchase, deploy and use IT. This is a demand side survey whose objective is to identify trends in the adoption and use of IT in East Africa. The output of the survey is the CIO Megatrends Report and the CIO100 Awards, the most sort after Awards in East Africa’s IT ecosystem.

The winners of the CIO 100 Awards are recognized at the CIO100 Symposium and Awards, a 2-day high energy celebrations of IT excellence marked with networking opportunities and knowledge sharing.

CIO East Africa will constitute a select panel constituted of industry experts, academics and former CIO’s who will adjudicate the applications based on information submitted. The CIO100 honorees will be chosen based on information submitted in this online application.

Entrants are encouraged to include any information about their project or initiative that they would like the judges to consider in their answers to the questions on the application. Each entry will be judged based on how it compares with all other entries submitted.

The regional CIO100 Awards celebrate companies from Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania for their innovative use of IT. The awards ceremony is an offshoot of the global CIO100 Awards which have been held for over two decades, during which time the awards have identified and recognized 100 companies that demonstrate excellence and achievement in IT across the globe.
