The event scheduled for 4th June 2017, marks the 28th Rhino Charge Event but the 11th time that “The eXPlorers” will be participating. The annual event is held in Kenya, in which the competitors have to compete on a gruelling cross-country course in 4×4 vehicles. All funds raised by this event are donated to Rhino Ark, a Kenyan charity set up to help to conserve the Aberdare Conservation area.
Rhino Ark seeks to conserve 70 km long Aberdares mountain range, located in central Kenya, which is a complex, bio-diverse ecosystem that encompasses over 2,000 square kilometres of national park and forest reserve.
“By supporting Car No. 65’s entry into the Rhino Charge, you will not only be contributing towards the protection of one of Kenyans most important water catchment areas and the protection of a rare and beautiful animal, you will also be directly supporting the local community ranches that the event is held on,” said Andrew Waititu a member of the eXPlorer’s Team.
