The registration deadline for the second annual African Security Summit has been set for 6th June 2017. The event is set to take place at the Norfolk Hotel, Nairobi, Kenya from the 14th- 15th June.
Per a statement on the event’s official website, the Africa Security Summit will help C-level executives on the continent better understand the true threats, what is required to address them and how effective, efficient solutions deliver competitive advantages.
“Stories of serious losses due to IT security breaches – from across the region and around the world – appear virtually every day. Those are vast, profound concerns for C-level executives. The threats, of financial loss, time required to resolve problems and public embarrassment, are enormous. While this is not a new problem, clearly the problems and threats – from ransomware affecting individual employees to large-scale theft – are evolving and growing rapidly,” the post continued.

Every year, organizations pour billions of dollars into information security. And like clockwork, every year hackers find new ways to access and steal sensitive data. A nearly US$300 billion global cybercrime market is a powerful incentive for keeping ahead of the technology curve.
The Africa Security Summit will explore the dangers facing organizations and will address these four key pillars:
Cyber Defense;

Data Privacy;
Governance;
