Monday 7th April and the country is still engulfed in a sombre mood after the Garissa Terror Attack that was said to be the second worst in the country’s history. We mourn the lives of more than 147 Kenyans majority of whom were students even as the country prepares for a vigil to remember and mourn the departed souls at Uhuru Park. It’s at this sad point that we start our wrap-up and week today.
#147NotJustANumber campaign on honours Kenyans in Garissa Terror attack
Termed as Kenya’s second deadliest attack after the al Qaeda attack that killed more than 200 people at the U.S. Embassy in Nairobi in 1998, the Garissa Terror Attack has left 148 Kenyans dead and has therefore attracted a global social media outcry. Using the hashtag #147notjustanumber, Kenyans used social media to talk about the lives of the victims. They shared pictures of beaming faces, full of life and energy, in happier days. They talked about parents too shocked to speak after identifying their children’s bodies.

LinguaNext Technologies has announced that its language platform Linguify.S is now an SAP-endorsed business solution for all countries worldwide. SAP will continue to develop localized versions for selected on-premise or cloud solutions, while LinguaNext will offer complementary solutions for product and language combinations not covered by SAP.
Linguify.S makes no changes or modifications to the underlying SAP software or application databases. Instead, language conversion is handled externally at the display level, with all screen output translated in real time using a customized in-memory dictionary. This allows customers to run a single language instance of an SAP application across multiple regions, with users in each country selecting their preferred display language from a drop-down menu.
