The launch comes against the background of a recent survey conducted by Research Solutions Africa, in collaboration with Warrior Insight. According to the findings, almost 90 per cent of the respondents have seen terrorism related risks increase while more than 60 per cent have witnessed an upsurge in cyber-crime and mobile scams.
On the other hand, 85 per cent of the organisations surveyed have seen an increase in security related risks, with the theft of assets being the leading one (almost 90 per cent), followed by personnel and corruption-related risks (both at 70 per cent). Overall, more than three-quarters of the respondents see a deterioration of general security in Kenya over the past two years.
Warrior Insight seeks to lower risks for organisations through real time security alerts, remote monitoring solutions and integrated risk management.

Speaking during the launch of the company in Nairobi, Warrior Insight CEO Mr. Adam Miller, told journalists the move is in response to emerging risks organisations face from terror, cyber-crime and employee fraud.
“In Kenya, the real threat of terrorism makes it imperative for organisations to adapt and find new ways of defining security by utilising accurate and timely risk information. This is critical to good decision making, which is essential to sustainable economic growth and social development” said Mr. Miller.
The company will maximise on a three-pronged approach to security, which sets the firm apart from others operating within the same space.

The company has deployed a state-of-the-art suite of security technology solutions and a softwareriven video analytics, which transform CCTV from a reactive and largely ineffective measure into integrated business solutions that prevent crime and reduce cost.
It also has a security monitoring centre manned by highly trained Kenyan graduates who monitor client operations and risk in real time and drive business process compliance.
Mr. Miller said the advanced security technology is in line with new global standards and will replace the old concept of manned guarding.

“Many organisations in Kenya still rely on security solutions of the past which involve manned guarding.
This is no longer the answer to emerging security risks,” he said, adding: “Globally, the concept of manned guarding is disappearing and is being replaced by increasingly advanced technology – this is the space Warrior Insight wants to control with huge success.”
The company also seeks to cut a niche for itself in the risk management industry by providing clients with real time security alerts to improve safety.
Mr. Miller disclosed that the firm has capacity to connect accurate intelligence with expert analysis to anticipate, mitigate and manage risks. This will be delivered by a strong source network, which provides real time critical information to a professional team of analysts using the very latest in intelligent database technology.
“Warrior Insight can better understand, analyse and predict trends in threat areas such as terrorism, inter-ethnic violence and criminality that are critical for organisations that seek to minimize risk on an ongoing basis” he added.
Under risk advisory and management services, Warrior Insight has a team of expert risk advisors specialised in counter terrorism, criminality, enterprise risk management, environmental risk, health and safety, information security, cyber security, business continuity, contingency planning, employee integrity and intellectual property.
An independent subsidiary of Warrior Security International, which has more than eight years’ experience in providing bespoke and highly professional security services to clients across Africa, the company targets multinationals, diplomatic and foreign missions, corporate and Non-Governmental Organisations (NGOs).
