VMWare, a virtualization and cloud computing software provider headquartered in Palo Alto, California and a subsidiary of the Dell Technologies, has joined other collaborators partnering with CIO East Africa to host the forthcoming Fintech Summit.
Slated on the 22nd and 23rd May 2019 at the Villa Rosa Kempinski Hotel in Nairobi, the Summit is themed; COLLABORATION & INNOVATION IN THE FINANCIAL SERVICES INDUSTRY.

The partnership is purposed to catalyze and foster growth, innovation and collaboration that reflects the journey of financial technology (Fintech), as it continues to transcend borders, shake-up business models, drive the pace of innovation and create new applications for financial services.
Lined up for discussion at the two-day summit include; Digitization and the Impact of FSIs on Kenya’s Big 4 Agenda, Interoperability and Data Protection in the Mobile Money Industry and Transformation of Digital Financial Services among others.
