Tanzania Telecommunications Company Limited (TTCL) has launched new SIM Cards for university students that enable them to have various services including enough air time, bundles and text messages.
Dubbed “BOOMPACK”, the TTLC SIM Cards are specialized only for students.
According to Dar es Salaam Regional Manager, David Dirisha the public mobile phone company wants to make sure that the students are using affordable internet services in the course of pursuing their studies.
Mr Dirisha said the new SIM Cards would also strengthen communication services between students, as users are able to have daily, weekly and monthly bundles to make them stay connected all the time.

Currently available in Dar es Salaam with plans of expansion to other parts of Tanzania.
