SEACOM has joined CIO100 Symposium and Awards as a premium sponsor, an annual event on its 7th year running and lined to host an average of 200 c-level corporate executives from East Africa.
As a premium sponsor, SEACOM is an ideal partner given its mandate of driving uptake of connectivity and cloud services across the region said Laura Chite, chief executive of CIO East Africa.
“We continue to thank all those of you who keep supporting us by attending and sponsoring our events. SEACOM coming on board for the CIO100 Symposium and Awards will help C-level executives in East Africa better understand their tailor-made communication and technological solutions aimed at enhancing connectivity within the region,” said Laura Chite, CIO East Africa’s CEO.

“Since SEACOM launched Africa’s first broadband submarine cable system along the eastern and southern coastlines in 2009, it has been able to scale data services that allow Africa’s growing ICT community to develop and evolve.” Tony Tugee, head of SEACOM East Africa.
The Pan African telecom enabler recently strengthened its East African leadership team by appointing seasoned telecoms personnel to head its newly launched connectivity business in East Africa.
As part of its efforts to make that a reality, SEACOM Business will deliver fast, reliable connectivity and high-quality cloud services to Kenyan organizations and exceptional customer experience that East African enterprises deserve from their telecom partners.
The event, slated for November 9th-10th, 2017 in Naivasha, will feature presentations from high-level private- and public-sector IT professionals from East Africa giving its audience a feel of experiencing the latest innovations as well as expanding their connections. The eventful symposium equally serves as fertile platform to launch new products or re-position ICT oriented products and brands in the market.
