SEACOM, a pan-African service provider, offering a full suite of resilient and scalable data services that allow Africa’s growing ICT community to develop and evolve has elevated Tony Tugee as Managing Director for the Eastern North and East Africa region.
Tugee previously serving as SEACOM’s head of business in Kenya and its service provider segment for East Africa is a renowned telco executive having served at Safaricom as the head of enterprise sales and retention at Safaricom before joining SEACOM in September 2017.

While announcing Tugee’s new role, Byron Clatterbuck, SEACOM’s Group CEO expressed confidence in his pick, saying his appointment is in line with the firm’s strategy of tapping globally-benchmarked and locally-relevant expertise to drive expansion in the region and across Africa.
