In a brief statement, Interswitch Group explained their desire to strengthen their strategy by merging operations in Kenya and Uganda. A lead that has made the position of the chief executive officer redundant.
This merge has however created three new positions; the Regional Chief Executive Officer (RCEO), who will oversee operations for Kenya and Uganda alongside a Country General Manager (CGM) role for the respective countries.
Romana Rajput, who has been with Interswitch Kenya will step in as the Country General Manager, Kenya, while the position remains open in Uganda.
