Little known about Kenyan company Smart Application International are this year’s Cloud Independent Software Vendor (ISV) partner of the year award winners in the Oracle Excellence Awards focusing on EMEA Region.

The Oracle Excellence Awards encourage innovation by Oracle PartnerNetwork (OPN) members, who use Oracle’s products and technology to create value for customers and generate new business potential.

Among the key Oracle products used by Smart Applications International include the Oracle Database, Oracle Cloud Database , Oracle Business Intelligence and Oracle Cloud Service.

The awards recognize Smart Application International for its commitment to deliver innovative, specialized solutions and services based on Oracle software and hardware.

The eight-year-old Kenyan Company owned by Chris Kirubi has over 1.2 million Clients and works with over 2900 hospitals. Among the key solutions that Smart Applications International uses include Oracle Database Cloud Service which was later added on with a health analytics feature.
