Well, if you are along Ngong Road, NaiLab has set up a free community WiFi hotspot to help you stay busy online and not dread the crazy Nairobi traffic
Taking to his Facebook account, Mr. Sam Gichuru, CEO NaiLab said, “From my window, I notice that people get stuck on Ngong road traffic for hours. Talked to my team and they come up with a brilliant idea. We have set up a FREE community WiFi Hotspot! Don’t get depressed in traffic when you are near our office.”
For starters, the WiFi hotspot will benefit those around Bishop Magua Centre where NaiLab offices are located. However there are future plans to have WiFi available to other neighbouring locations.

Different people reacted differently to the post, with most congratulating NaiLab for the initiative.
“It’s quite timely, especially with the impending road expansion expected soon… kudos!” commented Perry Alando.
“Don’t be shocked to find a few young industrious Kenyans hanging out in that hood. Well done trailblazing in small significant endeavor,” added Nelson Mburu.

The initiative by NaiLab comes at a wake of time where other IT Organisations like Liquid Telecom and Telecom Orange are investing millions of shillings to set up WiFi hotspots across major towns and cities across the country.
