Moringa School Appoints Snehar Shah As New CEO

Snehar Shah has been appointed as the new CEO for Moringa School, succeeding Audrey Cheng, the founder of the learning institution.

Snehar brings a vast experience of 25 years from multiple industries (Telecoms, Investment Banking, Infrastructure, Renewable Energy); diverse geographies (UK, Europe, Africa) and Leadership Roles (Strategy, CFO, General Management) that will be valuable as Moringa enters its next stage of growth in building the leading career management platform for tech workers in Africa.

He will lead Moringa through a period of rapid growth and continue to drive our vision that anybody can create their future. Snehar, Moringa’s New CEO commented, “Having worked in Corporates in my early career gave me the necessary skills to add value to Start-ups that I have been doing over the past decade. Having had a successful exit from my first start-up in Telecom Infrastructure and making significant impact in my previous role providing Solar lighting and TV systems to 300,000 households, I am excited for the next adventure with Moringa to build talent and opportunities in Africa through transformative tech-based learning experiences”.

In addition, Moringa and Flatiron School (named one of the Best Coding Bootcamps 2019-2021) announced a curriculum partnership in Africa.  Flatiron School is an education innovator teaching students in-demand tech skills like software engineering, data science, cybersecurity, and UX/UI design.
