Tech has impacted many areas of our lives, from the living rooms to our pockets. However it took quite some time for tech to check into the kitchen.
At first, we had smart chopping boards and timers, however, this was not sufficient, we still felt that our lives in the kitchens were not yet simplified. Our consumers wanted a cultural revolution, a revolution that would make the kitchen as entertaining as the living room, a revolution that would make cooking to be convenient like making a phone call. The kitchen wanted to be part of the smart home.
With this in mind, LG launched its new line of smart appliances equipped with HomeChat, which lets people communicate with their appliances through a mobile messaging app.

The company created Wi-Fi enabled home appliances that connect and interact with each other, as well as with your mobile devices. The LG SmartThinQ series is a line of smart appliances that includes the advanced LFX31995ST french door refrigerator.
Since then, LG has pioneered in creation of smart devices for our kitchens. If you do leave the kitchen, an app on your smartphone will notify when the roast in the oven needs to be turned and even when dinner will be ready. That’s how it is now. For the future, we will have refrigerators that can aide one in putting together perfect recipes.
Our Appliances aren’t just space-eating monsters anymore. In fact, they are starting to become one of the most valuable assets in the kitchen.Just like the Door- in-Door Refrigerator, washing machines are getting smarter, letting you know when a cycle has finished. Dishwashers are beginning to be quieter and quicker. But it is in the cooking territory where things are really starting to heat up.

LG’s SmartThinQ range has a number of appliances within it, one of which is an electric single range oven with infrared grill (LRE3027ST) that can be controlled using the LG cooking management app on your smartphone.
You’ll be able to set precise temperature control, monitor the self-cleaning feature and see what is going on from your smartphone so you’ll know if someone has been nice enough to cook you dinner.
The control panel is a beast with a number of buttons and options but it’s easy to navigate with the left side managing the cook top and the right side controlling the oven functions. And there is a scrolling display.

The Kitchen is finally part and parcel of the smart home, not just on technology but also with innovative apps and appliances.
