Laura Chite nominated for DIAR Award

CIO East Africa CEO Laura Chite has been nominated for diversity and inclusion executive C-suite award. The Diar Awards are The National Diversity and Inclusion Awards & Recognition celebrate companies , government agencies, CSOs, NGOs, CBOs and individuals who champion diversity and promote inclusion in the workplace and a socially cohesive society.

The event is now in its third year has  is well within its stride, bringing together individuals representing over 116 organisations from diverse fields.The awards system has a corporate category winners and individual category winners. With awards ranging from gender equality awards to best community service awards.

Laura Chite has been the CEO of CIO East Africa for almost three years, and was recently appointed to the Communications Authority Kenya board. At CIO East Africa, Laura is responsible for driving the company’s transformation by leveraging the publishing of CIO East Africa both on print and online portal to strategically position and collaborate with industry players yearning to digitally transform their enterprises.

Laura has over 22 years working experience in the IT industry ranging from Human Resource to Public Relations, Events Management to Sales and Marketing.
