He said this as he made his remarks in a video address to the Milken Institute Global Conference in Los Angeles.
“We remain particularly keen to form partnerships in ICT, agriculture, energy, financial services, manufacturing, the provision of health services and the film industry. Already we are seeing interest from American investors. We would like to encourage more,” he said.
The President also acknowledged the fact that Kenya was the best and developed market for internet access in Africa.

“Africa is the second fastest growing region in the world. These developments are supported by demographic and technological shifts soon, there will be almost a billion young Africans of working age; and there are likely to be over 100 cities of at least a million people each,” added President Uhuru.
In his, delivered from Sagana Lodge in Nyeri, the president pointed out that technology had loosened old constraints keeping in mind that there are one and a half times as many mobile phone users in Africa as in the US adding that with this in mind the Government would happily take up new technology to enhance economic growth.
