It’s ‘Lights Out & Here We Go’ For The dx100 Symposium and Awards
The dx100 Symposium and Awards teed off on a beautiful sunny day in Diani, Kwale County. The event that has brought together tech leaders from around the continent, has started with attendees already getting the magical Diani experience.
The event started with a golf morning that involved tech leaders who are also golfers face off in a friendly tournament to usher in powerful technology conversations. The golf tournament brought together social and professinal golfers to make what became a great golfing morning in Diani.

This is the 14th edition of the dx100 Symposium and Awards which was earlier known as the CIO100 Symposium and Awards. It’s one of Africa’s biggest tech get-togethers that tech leaders look forward to ever year. The event will have discussions and presentations on key topics affecting digital transformation in Africa.
The three day event will be capped off by the dx100 Gala Dinners, where players from multiple sectors will be feted for leveraging on digital transformation to improve lives in the continent. Over 350 applicants submitted their projects for consideration in the awards. The 350 list was shrinked to a top 100 after a vigorous shortlisting exercise by a panel of judges.
There will also be top winners in multiple sectors that have incorporated technology and more importantly digital transformation in their operations.

Technology is the backbone of innovation in multiple sectors and the effect of digital transformation has even fast tracked innovation in these sectors.
