Footprint Africa Business Solutions (FABS) has penned a partnership deal with CIO East Africa in conjunction with Rwanda Information Society Agancy, RISA, to host the second regional Cloud and Security Summit (CSS) in Kigali, Rwanda slated for the 28th and 29th of March 2019.
Themed; ‘Safe and Secure Services online’, the summits aims to heighten awareness about cyber security threats, risks and vulnerabilities in the cyberspace even with the ever advancing electronic fraud in the region. It will also enhance the knowledge for self-protection against cyber threats and online/internet safety.

Appreciating the need for cloud security, Laura Chite the CEO for CIO East Africa commended FABS and RISA for their partnership with CIO E.Africa to host the CSS event saying, “Data assets in the cloud are under constant threats in the form of data breaches, data corruption and destruction, temporary or permanent loss of access, and of data. Keeping information safe is thus incredibly important more so with the increased cloud adoption that increases the need for security in the cloud.”
