Empowering Africans To Thrive In The AI Revolution
People have different experiences with AI technology, some may see it as a disruptor whilst others perceive it as an opportunity to advance in an array of possibilities. Regardless of the school of thought, AI has gained traction and influence globally. The options on the table are either you hop on the train of revolution or play catch up.
Africa has nearly missed out on all single revolutions, including the new Tech revolution, industrial revolution, and agricultural revolution alike lagging behind while other countries have long established themselves. The Focus is on Africa and its relevance to the tech landscape. How well do they adopt the skills and know-how to navigate in the volatile world and how fast are they going to integrate the AI skills in their daily activities?
This is why the African AI Foundation, an organization dedicated to empowering Africa and ensuring that the continent does not miss out on the AI revolution, joined forces with the American Spaces to train a thousand people in AI skills annually to ensure inclusivity among Africans enabling them to participate in the ongoing AI revolution enabling them to be up to speed with the rest of the world.
