DUMAPAY’s first multiple payment option in Africa launched

Direct pay Online Group has launched a new version of its DUMAPAY payments App, this will be the first mobile application that supports multiple payment options in Africa.

Merchants using DUMAPAY version 2.0 will be able to accept card, e-wallets and mobile payments such as Visa, Mastercard, American Express, M-PESA, Airtel Money, MTN Money, Tigo. mVisa which is one of the payment options that has been added in the upgrade following the recent partnership Direct Pay Online had with Visa.

Another improved feature in the DUMAPAY 2.0 app is the simplified one time pairing of the card reader and the merchants’ phone.

The app supports a chip and pin card reader, to accept EMV card transactions, and now, the card reader can be paired to the merchants’ mobile device using Bluetooth. This is a one – step process, helping the merchants not to waste time by logging into the app every time they want to make a sale.

Merchants will also enjoy the DUMAPAY app 2.0 as it comes with a more detailed transaction history. They will be able to know which payments were accepted and which ones failed in real- time.

The new DUMAPAY App is now available on Google Playstore for Android phone users.
