Dan Kwach: Navigating The Path To Greatness

Meet Kwach. Dan Kwach; the Managing Director in charge of Africa Data Centres (ADC) in East Africa. A Kenyan who takes pride in the success that ADC has had in the region. A success that makes ADC very important to Cassava Technologies given it was the first data centre operation they acquired.

At the start of ADC’s life, Kwach was the data centre manager delving into, and finely balancing the technical and the commercial. His role, building the data centre and rise to the challenge to monetise it. The ultimate goal, to hear him state it, was not just to build a very good data centre, a state ADC was enjoying anyway. The key factor was making commercial value out of it. Kwach was thrown into the deep end. He needed to change the engineering marvel into a product that met customers’ specific needs and challenges. I am thrilled to announce that Kwach, with the support of the leadership and access to a strong team, developed ADC to what it is today.

When Dan Kwach transitioned into his role as the Managing Director of African Data Centres, the tech community went wild with applause.
