LG’s latest 18-inch OLED display, a crucial technological leap has been moving from LED TVs to OLED TVs can be “rolled up like a newspaper” and the display is full HD.
LG Display has been working on its fully flexible screen for some time now and will introduce its cutting-edge technologies under the slogan, ‘Your Imagination, Our Innovation”.
LG says they’re aiming for screens that are 55-inch and beyond. A 55-inch design concept OLED TV display that is paper-thin since the electric circuits are installed separately; and a matching pair of 65-inch extreme-curve concave/convex OLED displays.

At that size they will be able to produce a screen quality of 4K, they say – that’s four times HD.
Right now, the resolution is 1,200 by 810 pixels.
Dr. Sang-Beom Han, Vice Chairman and CEO of LG Display said, “LG Display has been sharing successful solutions with its customers by meeting the market’s requirements and demands with its differentiated technology. We will continue to offer differentiated values to the market and customers and strengthen the company’s leadership by responding quickly to trends in the expanding OLED market, including the fast-growing automotive and signage sectors, by offering various solutions.”
