Anthony Muiyuro Takes A Step Up In The World Of Cybersecurity

With a proven track record for building and securing the digital world, Anthony Muiyuro has taken the helm at a new role within EY. As far as cyber security goes, 2020 has shown that the cybersecurity landscape comprised of attacks that grew increasingly sophisticated as the year progressed, reminding businesses that while cybersecurity tools and protection practices have grown increasingly sophisticated, so too have methods of attack.

Formerly, Muiyuro was the Senior Manager of Cybersecurity and Resilience at the same company. He has shifted gears, and waded into waters that are of a deeper nature. At his new role, he will be responsible for leading the cybersecurity, privacy and trusted technology for EY across East Africa.

This comes at a time when the Kenyan, and East African technology landscape is undergoing a rapid change of pace. Partly due to the ongoing pandemic, and partly due to constantly changing IT infrastructure.
