Eric Osiakwan, a GhanaianTech Entrepreneur and Angel Investor, is set to partner with AITEC Africa, an ICT exhibition and conference organizer, to launch a Kenyan goods swapping site dubbed Mali 4 Mali.
This announcement was made during the Aitec summit by Osiakwan, during the AITEC East Africa ICT summit 2016, while answering a question posed by an audience member about how to localize business ideas. He said that designing innovations for countries outside of your own is a hard task, due to the lack of familiarity with the foreign market.
“We launched Swappaholics in Ghana where it was well received. It in turn trickled down to Dubai where it was well received as well because people in Dubai like to swap as well, so we have decided to partner with AITEC to launch the portal in Kenya because it is a big economy.” Osiakwan added.
