An additional 20 Huduma Centres are set to be rolled out across the country by June 2015.
This follows President Uhuru Kenyatta’s directive for the establishment of the additional 20 Huduma Centers in different Counties.
President Kenyatta made the declaration during a Huduma Kenya Service Delivery Summit Meeting where he is the substantive chair.

The Huduma Secretariat has a Memorandum of Understanding with Posta Kenya to host the Huduma Centers and provide service to citizens in all the 47 Counties.
The additional 20 Huduma Centers will include Muranga, Kirinyaga, Nyandarua, Tharaka Nithi, Laikipia, Makueni, Migori, Homabay, Nyamira, Kericho, Busia, Trans-Nzoia, Baringo, Nandi, Lamu, Taita Taveta, Kilifi, Marsabit, Samburu and Garissa.
The new Huduma centres will be operational on or before 30th June 2015 as per the Presidential directive going forward.

Huduma centres fall under the Huduma Kenya programme which is a programme by the Government of Kenya that aims to transform Public Service Delivery by providing citizen’s access to various Public Services and information from One Stop Shop citizen service centres called Huduma Centres and through integrated technology platforms. Huduma Kenya provides Efficient Government Services at the Convenience of the citizen.
After the Jubilee Government took charge in 2013, it established the Huduma Centres across the country for its citizens to access over 35 National services. It has been lauded as a first of its kind for innovative service delivery in Africa and recently won a continental award for its achievements.
