Smoothtel becomes Polycom’s gold partner in East Africa

Smoothtel, a Kenyan ICT company, recently received a gold Polycom award, making it one of the leading partners for Polycom in the East African region.

The award was handed to Smoothtel’s CEO, Raphael Mwangi by Chris Prowse – Polycom Regional Sales Director,during a press briefing held at the Serena hotel in Nairobi.

During the briefing Smoothtel’s CEO, Raphael Mwangi, spoke about what Smoothtel was aiming for within the region.

“Polycom’s vision and by extension Smoothtel’s vision is to provide solutions to help you unleash the power of human collaboration across any distance, device or timeline to save costs and drive top-line revenue growth.”  Mwangi said.

“Our sole focus and mission is to; help doctors save lives, educators teach students, governments operate more efficiently, Managers mentor their colleagues, executives connect with their teams, and product teams bring innovation to market faster—worldwide.”  He added.

Chris Prowse – Polycom Regional Sales Director,Saudi Arabia, Levant & North Africa, also spoke about the award, congratulating Smoothtel for its wonderful fete.

“It’s one of my great pleasures in my role to actually come and visit a number of different countries, to visit different partners in those countries and to make presentations to those partners who have exceeded our expectations and their expectations and are delivering solutions from Polycom to teir customers in their region.” Prowse said.
